We offer a comprehensive service of your computer hardware and system performance using up to date diagnostic tools.
It is recommended that a PC / LAPTOP has a regular annual maintenance schedule to keep things running smoothly.
This is particularly prudent if the PC / LAPTOP is supporting the running of your business or if the machine contains information / photo's about your family or friends
The checklist includes:
- Complete health check
- Thorough diagnostic test of your PC's components
- Virus, adware, malware and Spyware scan
- Removal of any spyware/virus activity
- Optimise hard drive and registry
- Removal of redundant/temp folders & files
- Update of all OS service packs, security patches & hot fixes
- Update device drivers
- Valet case enclosure
- Report on state of PC and any recommendations
We will also test for an extra fee peripheral devices such as
- Printers
- External Hard Drives
- Monitors
- Laptop Upgrades and repair
- Games Consoles (Parts permitting)
Virus Detection & Removal £35 - £100
It is estimated over 1 in 5 PCs is infected with a virus at any one time and is one of the main reason why home users seek help with their system.
Viruses can play havoc with your computer but can be removed and protected against.
Times to disinfect a system can vary from 1 to 4 hours depending on the level of infection. A Fixed Price option is available at £55. This however does not include the cost of a full operating system installation if the system is unrecoverable.
